This workshop has taken place at the Kulangar High School of Kulangar district of Logar Province. A total of (56) teachers and admin staff of the school participated in workshop. Sefatullah, one of the teachers at the school, opened the program with reciting of few verses of the Holley Quaran. Then, the workshop was opened by Abdul Ghafar, the principle of the school. He besides introducing of the ASC, thanked the team for conducting of the workshop in the area and wanted to continue such workshops in other regions to aware the people on the necessity of the subject. He added that the selecting of the topic is suitable with the current situations and necessity of the time. Moreover, he asked the participants to follow up the topics with full attention and act accordingly.

Afghan Peace and Democracy Act Two days Workshop On “ Strengthening of Women Rights in the new Afghan Constitution and Peace building Process”

Afghan Peace and Democracy Act (APDA) with collaboration of Training of Human Rights Activists (For Afghan Women) has organized two days training workshop for Afghan women on the following topics:

1. Women Rights in the new Afghan Constitution;
2. Role of Afghan Women in the peace building process.

Peace process and peacebuilding in Afghanistan was the name of the workshop organized by the Afghan delegation at this year’s World Social Forum (WSF). Raz Mohammad Dalili and Sayed Ihsanullah Dileri from Sanayee Development Foundation (SDF) conducted this workshop on 18 January 2004. A great number of people from different countries of the world participated.

This was one of the events which the Afghan delegation registered at the WSF. Raz Mohammad Dalili focused on the following points in his presentation:
