This workshop has taken place at the Khalid Ebn Walid High School of Wardak Province.

with the efforts of the workshop team, a tow days' workshop entitled Process of Democracy in Afghanistan was conducted with the in the above-mentioned High School.

A total of (54) person of the teachers and admin staff of the school participated in the workshop.

At the beginning, Mawlawi Haidary recited few verses of the Holley Quran afterward, Abdul Ghafoor the principle of the School, opened the workshop. He thanked ASC and its donor for undertaking such programs. He mentioned some points as obstacles for democracy in the Afghan society and emphasized on its removing and asked Afghans to hard work for that. Then, Shamsulhaq, Master Trainer at ASC, talked in details about the topic and explained the principles of the Democracy and its benefits and its privileges to the society and emphasized that only a democratic regime can solve the current problems Also, he talked on the process of Election as an important tool for democracy and gave some information about the matter. At the end of his speech, he answered the questions asked by the participants.

The second day of the workshop began with reciting of a few verses of the Holley Quran as well. Then, Qazi Abdurrahman , the master trainer at Afghanistan Study Center (ASC ) delivered his lecture and talked in details on the topic.He discussed the subject in view of Islam and told that democracy is not appose to opinions of Islam and that this is enemy’s propagandas that they talk on differentiation between Islam and democracy. At the end of his speech, he answered the questions asked by participants.

Abdul Hadi, the other master trainer at the Afghanistan Study Centre, delivered the final speech on the subject and thanked the authorities, teachers and admin staff of the school for paving the way for conducting the workshop at the area and exchanging the views between each other to make a good example for the coming generations.
