
This guide will show you the step by step procedure to install the script that will convert the text written in Asiasoft Pashto software into Unicode Web compliant Word document.
- Make sure that the Uni-Code (Web compliant) Pashto software is installed
and Pashto language is selected
- Download and extract the conversion script
- Open Microsoft Word
1. Click on menu: Tools – Macros – Visual basic Editor (Alt+F11)
A new window of Visual Basic editor will be opened
2. Click on File – Import File (Ctrl+M)
3. Select the conversion script file (Pashto_to_UTF.bas) and click open
- To see the script imported to the editor follow next steps
- In the left side box of the editor, double click on the module folder
- A module of the script will be shown there
- Double click on it to see the code to be sure that the script is properly
imported
- Click on the save button to save the script with the document
- Close the Visual basic Editor and return to MS Word
To convert it to Unicode (Web Compliant), follow the steps below
- Open any document written in Asia Soft (Pashto) Word
- Click on menu: Tools – Macros – Macros (Alt+ F8)
- A macro with name Pashto_to_UTF will be shown there
- Click on Pashto_to_UTF on the left side of the macros list box
- Click on the Run
- The script will start running,
- Click on the Yes button every time when asked for the replacement.
- The document will now be successfully converted to UTF (Web Compliant)

- Click on File – Save As to save the document with different name
