Brief Activity Report of APDA Kabul Office for the Month of February 2004.




The following activities have been done by APDA Kabul as of February 1st, 4 till February 29th, 04.

Meetings and Interviews:

Meeting of APDA Coordinator Mr. Sarwar Mamound with the representative of Kabul University Students Union Mr. Younus Negha (Law Faculty Student) regarding APDA cooperation with them and future joint activities in 2004 On February 22, 2004.

Conducted Web Portal Meeting by Tahir Saeed Web Developer of APDA at 2:00 On Feb 12, 04.

Conducting Coordination Meeting of member Organizations at 4:00 pm on Feb 16, 04 at APDA Kabul.

Conducted Coordination Meeting of member Organizations in order to discuss the new strategy of APDA and its draft Constitution at 2:00 pm on February 23, 04.

Meeting of Assistant Coordinator with the member NGOs AWEC, AWRC, and AWN regarding their fresh activities and collecting the print material for APDA Documentation Center.

Meeting of Assistant Coordinator with Ghizaal Hares Acting Field Coordinator of IHRLG (International Human Rights Law Group).

Conducted and Interview with Jamila who was one of the Prisoners in Kabul Women Prison regarding her life Condition after releasing the Jail whom APDA helped to release from Jail and find her the Job on Feb 11, 04.

Interview of Assistant Coordinator with Ms. Aziza Ahmadyar Responsible of AWRC Kabul Office regarding her feedback about the India visit and World Social Forum which was held on January 16-22, 04 in India Mumbai on February 15, 04.

Conducted an interview with Ms. Reta wazhma and Mr. Gul Zaman former singers of Kabul TV regarding their songs on TV and the Problems currently they face on their work and at Afghan Music on February 23, 04.

Trainings and Workshops:

Conducted training workshop on photography which has been started from January till February for the staff of Killid Media Center and Students of Kabul University by Mr. Dominic Morissitte Trainer of Photography and Video Unit from Canada.

Conducted training workshop on video Editing for the staff of THRA (Training and Human Rights Association) AWRC and APDA Organization from January till February, 04.

Launching a 5 days training workshop on Web Portal for Kabul University Students and Killid staff regarding uploading Audio Contents to the Web Portal and Participants have benefited from this workshop on Feb, 04.

Video film projects were conducted for several Afghan national NGOs employees, Kabul University Students, Afghan Film employees and Killid Magazine through APDA Multimedia Center by Mr. Dominic since January 2004 till February, 04.

Some more contents have been put on Web Portal by S. Shafiq I. T Officer of APDA.

Financial:

Prepared Financial Statement for the month of February.
Daily Financial Reporting.

Administration:

Making list of the APDA Documentation Center books and print materials.
Making list of Multi Media Center equipments.
