Focus:
Through the Global Reach Out for Women (GROW) Program, Women's EDGE is developing groups of local activists in several states around the nation to educate their communities and political leaders about how the United States can help women and girls in developing countries. State-level group design their own outreach projects ( such as festivals, press events, or tours of women leaders from other countries) and receive small grants to carry out these activities. Local groups also actively engage their communities in advocacy actions to support the needs of women and girls. Women's EDGE has also developed materials and alerts to help individual activists from throughout the United States get involved and make a difference.
