One-day Workshop on Women and Parliament

According to the plan on 2nd of February 2005 the program started at 9:00 am and 30 women including female candidates for the parliamentary elections( from Nooristan, Paktia, Ghazni and kabul) , directors of women NGOs, teachers, representative of AWN, Azadi Radio, Radio Salam and representative from CSHRN. Mrs. Masooda Jalal Minister of Women’s Affairs had also participated in the workshop.

A two days workshop was arranged by Afghanistan Study Center (ASC) team after surveying and understanding with the concern authority of the district. This workshop was conducted in Qalai Shaikh High School of Alingar district of Laghman Province. A total of () people of female, male teachers and admin staff of the school participated the workshop.

Afghan Girls High School’s Teachers and Senior Students Graduation from APDA’s Computer Courses

On 2/10/04 Computer courses graduation ceremony was held in APDA conference room. Thirty female and male trainees have got their graduation certificates of computer software programs. Among the graduates teachers and students of Kabul girlsh schools were dominated, this was the third graduation ceremony which took place in APDA.

In the certificate distribution ceremony Mr. Raz Mohammad Dalili Director of SDF, Miss Roshan Sirran Director of THRA and Mr. Sarwar Mamound Coordinator of APDA have talked about the role of well qualified Afghans in the future of Afghanistan and called on trainees to actively use the gained knowledge and practice for the Afghanistan reconstruction.
