A 10 days (5+5) training workshop on HIV/AIDS Prevention & Control was conducted by AWN with support of Women Commission from 18 – 28 May, 2005 at Revoli Guest House Peshawar. This training was conducted in two phases, In the first five days of the training, 22 participations were benefited from the training that included participants from different NGOs and Health section.

The salient hosts of the workshop were Jamshed Ul Hassan – Afghan Commissioner, Dr. Essa Musalo – Health Coordinator of UNHCR, Barakat Shah – In-charge Red Cross, Saudi Arabia and Mohammad Kashif – Incharge Shahed Company.

At the end of the first phase of the workshop, certificates were distributed among the participants of the training.

In the second phase of the workshop, 25 participants were benefited from the training. The closing ceremony of the final phase of the workshop was hosted by Mr. Jan Mohammad from Police Department, Dr.Shamail Medical Director of IMC, Mohammad Asghar Director of Asia OPEL, Nageen Malik Trainer of OPEL and Shahlaah Advisor of OPEL.

Certificates were distributed among the participants at the end of the training.
